Dimmer's Home Bakery is a traditional European style bakery using recipes and techniques that have been perfected over generations and appreciated by millions of satisfied customers. Our owner and Master Bakers have literally studied around the world in order to bring you the best tasting bread possible. We have brought all of this to our bakery, located in Denver, Colorado, in order to bring you the freshest, best tasting bread.
All Dimmer's Home Bakery products are made from either organic or natural ingredients. We believe there is no room in Real Bread for high fructose corn syrup, vinegar, shortenings (organic or non-organic), oils that contain trans fatty acids, any chemicals or artificial ingredients or preservatives. We produce the highests quality product, so you can be assured that you are eating the best.
Regarding our situation with Whole Foods
Our customers have asked us to explain the reasons for our departure from all Whole Foods retail outlets and to clear up any confusion or falsehood provided by the Whole Foods staff.
We at Dimmer’s Bakery have been very cooperative with Whole Foods and their staff through our 14 year business relationship. Our departure from Whole Foods is due mainly because of Whole Foods having a price point that was too high for our customers. We feel our customers should get high quality, locally baked bread at a reasonable price. We were being charged a much higher margin on our products than every other bread vendor at the store. Most of them national brands that are not all-natural but in many cases altered using chemicals and preservatives. Without lowering the price of our product it made it very difficult to compete with the national brands, not to mention making it unfair for our customers to have to pay such a high price. After failed or ignored talks with the management of Whole Foods, we have decided that it was not in the best interest of our business, and more importantly our customers, to remain in association with the grocer.
This is a disappointing end to a long business relationship that spanned over a decade. We believe this is the best decision at this time and a step forward in the right direction. Dimmer’s Bakery would like to express our sincere apologies for the inconvenience to all customers that bought our bread exclusively at Whole Foods. You can still purchase our bread at any Vitamin Cottage, most King Soopers, and Costco.
We would also like to invite you to our store located at 3890 Dahlia St, Denver, where you can purchase all of our products freshly baked.
